My Week Recap

This week was pretty productive! My meal planning went seamless ( unfortunately I forgot to take pictures...lol...my highlights this week were:

1. Hanging out with my sis @mzmetchi! She invited me to a free screening of @violadavis new movie, GTO, with our SiStars at @bwplinc! I had a great time seeing them and spending some much-needed time with my Sis! Plus the movie was EXCELLENT! ( review coming soon) ❤️

2. Yesterday I took a self-care day and went for a massage and had lunch with Mommy, @cbs3designs! Of course, it's always a great time with her. I appreciate how she continues to show up for my sis and me even at our BIG age...😆. I love you, Mom!

3. Also, remember to Keep Going! Quitting is Never an optional!

This Week’s Recap:

1️⃣ My dietitian called me out—apparently, I'm not great at making impromptu meal choices (she’s not wrong). So, in an attempt to switch things up, I made sweet potato hash for breakfast. A little planning never hurt!

2️⃣ Derrick and I hit up Ghareeb Nawaz, @ghareebnawaz_chicago on UIC’s campus. I tried the butter beef—spicy and delicious!

3️⃣ Got to spend a little time with my BM' @stormyvocalsmartin this week. Always a good time!

4️⃣ Been working on acknowledging my emotions without overthinking things to death. It’s an interesting habit to build, but it definitely brings a new level of awareness.
